Psychotherapy

I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and accredited member of the BACP with 10 years of experience supporting people with different concerns including anxiety, loss, low self esteem, relationships, identity and trauma.

I offer a safe, confidential and non judgemental space to talk through your issues in a way that can help you to process your experiences, understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes.

I integrate existential and psychodynamic approaches. An existential approach to therapy is rooted in philosophical principles that focus on exploring the fundamental questions of human existence, such as the meaning of life, freedom, choice, responsibility, and mortality. My aim is to help you confront and make sense of these existential concerns - cultivating acceptance, courage and purpose.

The psychodynamic approach to therapy focuses on exploring the unconscious mind, childhood experiences, and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. This approach views past experiences, especially those from early childhood, as influential in shaping current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. We would work together to uncover and explore unconscious conflicts and patterns of behaviour that may be contributing to your difficulties. I provide a supportive environment for you to explore emotions, memories, and dreams, with the goal of gaining insight and promoting personal growth and healing.

I offer a free initial 15 minute video call to connect and discuss working together. The first session is an opportunity for us to see if working together feels right for us both. Please email me to book an initial call: hello@sanctuarywithsarah.com
